Terry Fox Run 2025

Terry Fox was an amazing man! He was an athlete and a humanitarian. He
dedicated his life to raising money for cancer research after he was diagnosed
with cancer at age 18. Amazingly, he ran for 143 days, 42 km/day for a total of 5
373km! At Uncas, we share Terry’s dream to end cancer and support a cause that
many of us have been touched by.

Our annual Terry Fox Run will take place on Thursday, September 25.  We are asking each
student to bring in a toonie (or more) to support this important cause. For their
donation, students can enter a draw to win a Terry Fox T-shirt.  If you donate online,
please send a note in your child’s agenda so they can be entered in the draw.

If we can raise $330, we will celebrate this accomplishment by giving the whole
school an extra period outside. Please donate to help us raise money for cancer
