A Small School with a Big Heart
At Uncas School we believe that healthy children are better learners. We are an Ever Active School and promote healthy living and daily physical activity. Recognizing that home, school and community are a powerful team, we work together to support each other in creating an atmosphere that values healthy choices. In addition, we welcome parent and community involvement in our school and work as a team to promote leadership and character education.
Uncas Elementary has a vibrant School Council group that is instrumental in supporting school projects and cultural program delivery. The Fine Arts Committee provides students with a wide variety of experiences in the cultural arena and opportunities to participate in Artist in Residency programs. Our vast number of volunteers enables the staff to provide students with a well rounded program and opportunities to grow in a number of areas.
